  • Nylon (PA), 0.20µm
  • Nylon (PA), 0.45µm
  • PTFE, 0.20µm
  • PTFE, 0.45µm
  • PVDF, 0.20µm
  • PVDF, 0.45µm
Pore sizes of the membranes: 0.20µm + 0.45µm
Glass Fibre Prefilter: 1-2µm
Pressure Rating: 700kPa = 7bar = 101psi
Effective Filter Area: 3.14qcm
Sample Retention:: 0.3ml
Inlet: Luer-Lock-Inlet (female)
Outlet: Luer-Slip (male)
Packaging Unit: 100 pieces in a PE-Bag and additionally in a blue PP-Box
Additional Properties: colour-coded filters with additional print of the appropriate membrane type and pore size
  higher pressure resistance and better fixation of prefilter and membrane due to the injection moulded ring around the housing

Application Specific Data

Regenerated Cellulose(RC)

as a hydrophilic membrane suitable for aqueous and organic media;
not suitable for aggressive acids and bases (good moistening properties, wet durable).

PTFE

as a hydrophobic (water repellent) membrane suitable for organic solutions and aggressive acids/bases or cryo liquids (chemically high resistant);
for aqueous filtrations pre-washing with Methanol is required to make the membrane more hydrophilic.

Nylon (PA)

as a hydrophilic membrane suitable for aqueous and organic media.

PVDF

hydrophilic membrane - similar resistant as PTFE; recommended for filtration of protein solutions
